How do you know if it’s infatuation or chemistry?

The sensations of infatuation and chemistry are identical. They are the same thing. The scientific name for it is limerence.

If the person experiencing it is a tween or a teen, we call it infatuation and discount it as immature. When it happens to us as adults, we write poems and songs about it. We laud it as if it were a god. However, it is chemistry that often blinds us to red flags and leads to dysfunctional relationships.

Mature love is conscious love, not hormones.
