In my practice, I have learned to enjoy the ride. There are many fruits to be picked from the trees along the way: patience, presence, generosity, kindness, forgiveness, equanimity, compassion, etc. All increase with practice. I may or may not reach enlightenment. It doesn’t matter. The quality of my life has improved and I am having a more positive effect on those around me. Enjoy the journey. I have.
