How to Meditate in a Bar

Place your attention in the palm of your hand. Notice the sensations of the air on your skin. You may feel a tingling there. While you do this you can listen to people talk. You can respond and still have your attention in the palm of your hand. No one knows that you are meditating. I have used this technique for years to meditate in public.

    1. That becomes part of the practice, how to attend to your hand and maintain sufficient awareness to the conversation. It was some what difficult for me at first, but it is second nature now.
