How do you deal with the realization that you are not special?

When you feel special or not feel special, it is because your thoughts tell you so. Knowing this, recall a time when you were doing something you really enjoy. Chances are you were really absorbed into the task. Time passed without you realizing it. You only thought about the task and not yourself. When you are that absorbed in a project, thoughts of special and not special disappear and you do your best work. The moment itself becomes special.

My advice to you is to let go of ideas of special and not special and enjoy the moment. Make each task special. Even if it is something as mundane as brushing your teeth.
